This Week’s Fishing Game Plan
Inshore Fishing: Work marsh grass edges and creek junctions with a 1/4-ounce jig head and a shrimp-profile plastic, following the draining water.
Surf & Beach Fishing: At Fort Pickens, cast ghost shrimp with Fishbites into a cleaner lane and move away from persistent grass.
Nearshore / Pier Fishing: At gas platforms off Fort Morgan, cast a Mad Scad 95 and use a twitch-pause retrieve for Spanish mackerel and bluefish.
Offshore Fishing: For Pensacola tuna, concentrate on bait near wrecks and live bottom and slow-troll live bait; work the bait-holding area even when surface feeding is absent.
